The new batch of Swaco MD3 shale shaker screens were finished and deliveried to repeat client. MD-2 shakers and MD-3 shakers use composite-frame screens with a size of 615 × 610 mm (approx. 24.49" x 25.8").
Materials and Specifications
M-I SWACO screens are manufactured to meet API RP 13C compliance and are available in a range of mesh sizes to suit different drilling applications.
Mesh Material: Screens typically use two or three layers of 304 or 316 stainless steel wire cloth.
Frame Material: Options include high-strength plastic and glass composite material reinforced with steel rods, or traditional steel backing plates/frames.
Mesh Types: Available mesh types include XL (ultrafine), XR (longer life/capacity), HC (high conductance), and MG (for coarse separation) to provide screening flexibility.
Design Features: The screens often feature a partitioned design to prevent localized damage from spreading, allowing for quick repairs with rubber plugs to minimize downtime.
