The Brandt VSM300 shale shaker screens are replacement filtering components for VSM 300 shale shakers.A piece of solids control equipment used in oil and gas drilling operations. These screens separate solids from drilling fluids (mud) to allow for fluid recycling and to reduce operational costs. The VSM 300 has three different deck types—scalping, primary, and an optional drying deck—which each require specific screen types.
Features
Material: Screens are made from stainless steel wire mesh cloth (SS304, SS316, or SS316L). Frames are available in steel, composite, or polyurethane.
Frame: Many VSM300 screens are pretensioned, which extends their service life and ensures a proper fit. The design promotes efficient energy transfer from the shaker basket to the screen.
Mesh types: There are several mesh options to fit drilling conditions:
Ultra-fine (XL): Provides very fine cut points for enhanced filtration.
XR mesh: Offers higher throughput and fine cut points.
High Conductance (HC): Provides a high liquid flow rate.
Types of VSM300 screens The VSM 300 shale shaker is a cascade system that separates solids in stages, with each deck having a different screen type.
Scalping screen (top deck): Features a coarser mesh to remove larger solids and protect the finer mesh on the primary screens below.
Primary screen (middle deck): Has a finer mesh for more precise separation and higher throughput capacity.
Secondary (bottom deck): An optional third deck with an ultra-fine mesh to reduce fluid loss.
